BABI GULING CANDRA, Denpasar






A local restaurant of Babi Guling which there is near Simpang Enam of the Denpasar city. Simpang Enam is the name of a tower built in the center of the 6way-intersection. The local people who rode a motorcycle line up at the storefront. It that there is always visitors in business hours from 5:00AM to 22:00PM will be the popularity shop that is loved to local people. Because it is not such spicy, even the person who is weak in a hot thing will be all right. As for the Babi Guling of this restaurant, there is a lot of tender meat. Because a lot of quantity is delicious, it will be popular with local people. It is open until late time of the night, it will be available to drop in at the returns of the sightseeing.








Nasi Jinggo Ubud



Nasi Jinggo is perceived as a 'peasant' food, due to the relatively cheap nature I assume. A packet of this particular Nasi Jinggo in Ubud Street costs only RP 3,00. With that mere amount of money, you can actually get a decent amount of rice, with a scoop of fried noodles, a little bit of stir fried egg, half handful of ground peanuts and most importantly a dollop of home made chili ! All that for only RP 3,000 !! Try to beat that price! At this street food stall (Warung Kaki Lima), there are options for additionals; chicken, pork and tuna. Those side meat are packed in banana leaves and charged at RP 1,500 per packet.








Warung Wardanii



Warung Wardani is another eatery in Bali that is famous for their 'Nasi Ayam' or in English 'Chicken Rice'. It is basically a selection of vegetables with chicken cooked in several different way, topped with a chicken satay served on top of steam white rice. The idea is simple but the taste is definitely complex and something you can never belittle.

Nasi Ayam Kedewatan, Ubud


The restaurant is called Nasi Ayam Kedewatan (literally--Chicken Rice Kedewatan) and has been operating  in a small village northwest of Ubud proper since 1964. The plate (12,000Rp) comes with rice, sate lilit (chopped chicken mixed with grated coconut and spices, molded onto bamboo sticks, then grilled), tum (slices of chicken mixed with spices and grated coconut covered by banana leaves then steamed), two kinds of braised chicken (spicy and mild, both of which cooked in cocount milk), sayur lawar (sliced long bean mixed with grated coconut), roasted peanuts, fried chicken skin, and a very spicy dry sambal.

Warung Spesial Sambal



From the abbreviated name of the warung, anyone can certainly guess that the largest variety on the menu is sambal. There are 27 kinds of sambal, sambal belut, sambal teri, sambal tahu, sambal trasi segar, sambal bajak, sambal tomat and many more. This month, the fresh sambal terasi (shrimp paste chili sauce) stands at the top, followed by cooked sambal terasi, sambal cumi, sambal tomat and sambal belut and, last but not least, sambal tubruk. The sambal are priced from Rp 1,500 to Rp 5,000 per portion.
